Updates are optional. Your license is perpetual, meaning your current version will work forever. If you want access to new features, bug fixes, and support for new Sage Evolution versions (e.g., v12+), you can subscribe for $500/year.

If you have an active update subscription, you get the new compatible version of EvoConnect for free. If not, you can keep using your current version (compatible with Sage 9, 10 & 11) or purchase an upgrade license.

Your license continues working with the Sage versions it supported when your updates expired. For example, if you bought in 2025 (Sage 11) and don't renew, you can use Sage 9/10/11 forever.

If Sage releases version 12 and you want to upgrade your ERP, you'll need to either:

  • Resume your updates subscription ($499/year), OR
  • Purchase an upgrade license ($999 one-time) if you've been lapsed >90 days

Important: Sage stops supporting versions that are 3+ versions old. If you stay on Sage 11 while Sage 14 is current, you won't get Sage support.
